Studio Lynn offers a wide range of events throughout the academic year that are available for the students as supplements to the curriculum. The activities range for specific events focused on teaching to far reaching study trips, meant to enhance our perspective. In addition to our teaching staff, each year we invite distinguished international guests, from the field of architecture and adjacent design realms to visit the studio to give lectures, workshops, and participate on student reviews.
IOA SLIVER Gallery and Lecture Series In 2007, The Institute of Architecture (IOA) initiated an annual series of lectures and exhibitions to foster exchange between studetns, faculty, professional and the general public. The IOA SLIVER series presents a set of thin but deep 'slice' through a variety of design disciplines.
Reviews Student work is reviewed in several different formats. We review in the form of desk reviews, informal presentations with studio professors, and formal reviews with invited outside guests. Reviews are a critical component to each semester.
Workshops A range of workshops are offered to enhance skills in different areas, ranging from physical model building to advanced digital skills.
Studytrips Studytrips are an integral part of each semester.
Exchanges The students have several opporunties to study abroad. This is an opportunity for students to learn and experience another academic environment.
