This section highlights some of the material resources available to our students.

Model Workshop

Studio Lynn has a collection of tools and a model making room available for the development of student work. These supplement the University's large central workshop equipped for working with wood and metal. The studio also employs a skilled assistant to help students master the techniques of physical model buildinig.

CNC Manufacturing Labs

CNC manufacturing equipment is available for use by all students with the appropriate training. Digital fabrication equipment includes a laser cutter, 3D printer and two 3-Axis CNC-mills.

Computer Lab

Studio Lynn maintains a computer lab for teaching tools critical to the contemporary practice of architecture  and the development of student projects. Frequent hands-on tutorials highlighting digital techniques are organized by instructors and advanced students.

Readers

Readers collecting design precedents and theory texts relevant to the current studio task are an important part of each semester.  Students are also provided an entry reader collecting essays significant to the work of the studio.
