Martin Murero - Model Building Assistant


Architect and modelbuilder practicing in Vienna. He completed his degree in Architecture at Technical University Vienna in 2001.  Following graduation, he spent one year in Italy studing industrial design.  He joined the studio team in the Fall of 2004.  He is primarily responsible for model building activities, and focusing on a range of techniques from handcrafting to digital fabrication, such the CNC mill, laser cutter and 3d printing devices.

Maja Ozvaldic - Assistant Professor


Born in maribor - Slovenia, Maja is currently working and teaching in Vienna. She has studied architecture and received her Diploma with distinction from the University of Applied Arts - Studio Greg Lynn in January 2009. She gained her professional experience working with Peter Kogler, The Next Enterprise and Chalabi Architects in Vienna. In 2010 she received the TISCHE Scholarship and went working for Cmmnwlth in New York prior joining Asymptote Architecture New York, where she worked on a range of high profile international projects. She has been previously teaching with Lise Anne Couture at GSAPP Columbia University in New York and lecturing with Peter Trummer at the Institute for Urban Design (IOUD) in Innsbruck. Since 2013 Maja co-directs the SLIVER Lecture Series at the Institute of Architecture, which addresses design issues of contemporary culture in regard to the expanded field of architecture.

Bence Pap - Assistant Professor


Bence Pap is an architect by education and currently practicing and teaching as an Assistant Professor since 2011 with Studio Lynn. He has studied architecture in Vienna at the Technical University, the Academy of Fine Arts and received his Diploma from the University of Applied Arts – Studio Lynn with distinction. He has conducted several workshops throughout Europe focusing on digital design and fabrication and the use of novel digital tools. Bence gained his professional experience with a number of architectural firms like Zaha Hadid Architects in London where he has been involved from 2007 to 2011 in a wide range of high profile projects ranging from urban master plans to cultural institutions and residential buildings. He has also participated in a number of projects with F451 Arquitectura Barcelona, Stan Allen Architects Princeton, and various offices in Vienna.

Dominik Strzelec - Assistant Professor


Dominik is a designer and researcher. He studied philosophy and architecture in Warsaw, then architecture in Vienna [Studio Wolf D.Prix, diploma: Studio Zaha Hadid]. He has been teaching in various academic institutions since 2008 [Urban Strategies and Excessive HDA postgraduate programs in Vienna, Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna] and conducted workshops internationally [generative design, physical computing]. He collaborated and worked for several architectural offices [Coop Himmelblau, Rainer Pirker Architexture, BUS Architektur, Centrala Designers Task Force]. For several years Dominik was active in the generative art community as echoechonoisenoise, recently he is a co-founder of oddEquipment OG, an interdisciplinary design practice based in Vienna.
