![]() Kristy Balliet - Assistant Professor Architect practicing in Philadelphia and Vienna. She practiced architecture in Philadelphia for 6 years, prior to moving to Vienna in 2006. She was an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania and Philadelphia University. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Philadelphia University and her Master's Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2004. She is the co-creater and coordinator of the IOA Sliver Lecture and Gallery series.
![]() Oliver Bertram - Assistant Professor Architect, founder and principal of Different Futures, a unique practice combining architectural design, industrial design and brand management for renowned clients such as FESTO, bwin, Mercedes AMG and as a project partner with GL Form. He was educated at the ETH in Zurich and has taught at the ETH and the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He has been an Assistant Professor in the studio since its establishment in 2002 when Greg Lynn took over for Emeritus Prof. Hans Hollein.
![]() Justin Diles - Assistant Professor Architect working and teaching in Vienna and Philadelphia. He received his Bachelor's Degree in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis (1998) and his Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania (2006) where he was awarded the Faculty Prize for distinguished work. He has 8 years of professional experience and has previously taught with Cecil Balmond, Winka Dubbeldam, David Ruy and Ferda Kolatan. He is also a lecturer at PennDesign where he teaches a summer workshop on contemporary design techniques for graduate students.
![]() Alexandra Graupner - Project Management and Organization After finishing her studies in Cultural Sciences and English at the KF University in Graz in 2003 she worked as a project manager and assitant of the board in the House of Architecture Graz for 3 years. She took over the adminitstrative and organizational matters of the studio in 2005. Since then, she has also been part of the yearly I-O-A Architecture Live organisation team and co-creator and coordinator of the IOA Sliver Lecture and Gallery series.
![]() Martin Murero - Model Building Assistant Architect and modelbuilder practicing in Vienna. He completed his degree in Architecture at Technical University Vienna in 2001. Following graduation, he spent one year in Italy studing industrial design. He joined the studio team in the Fall of 2004. He is primarily responsible for model building activities, and focusing on a range of techniques from handcrafting to digital fabrication, such the CNC mill, laser cutter and 3d printing devices.
